Mythic Journeys:  Soaring With Pegasus *Co-facilitated by Michael Miller. In his iconic work on trauma, Waking the Tiger, Peter Levine states that “In dreams, mythical stories, and lore, one universal symbol for the human body and its instinctual nature is the horse.” further noting that “…the winged horse speaks of transformation through embodiment.”  Horses mirror ourselves back to us without judgment or illusion, the perfect transport for a journey to our inner realms and pathways to healing.  Story is a powerful medium that has the ability to shape and transform our lives.  This 3-day workshop delves into our own personal mythology.  Like the classic heroes of old, we will set out with the horses as our guides as we examine common archetypes, tap into our intuition, explore boundaries, and seek outdated life patterns in the quest for our authentic selves. Alter the course of your story and transform the outcome in the process of writing your own myth while dancing with our magical herd.
